We stopped here on the way from the airport when we first got in to NOLA; LPK accommodated us with ease even though we had several suitcases. My favorite dishes were the fried fish, boudin, and carrot souffle. They have hot sauce available, for those of us who want more heat to our food. (It really elevated the mac n’cheese and fried fish, IMO) Some of the foods on the buffet were lukewarm instead of hot, but we arrived around 1:30, so it was a little late for lunch anyway. Regardless, the restaurant was still busy at 3pm on a Wednesday afternoon when we left. Lots of people in medical scrubs, so you know it’s frequented by the locals. Great service and food. (Very cute Halloween decor, too.) Such a perfect first introduction to the city and Cajun/Creole cuisine.
