Great 1st impression! New Years weekend, so numbers were a bit lower than expected. But the restaurant was beautiful in decor and calming color scheme. I ordered the Caramel Apple French Toast and I will say, it was the best French Toast I have ever eaten!!! No syrup needed. My husband had their Belgian Waffle with berries. He is a southern guy who likes his eggs, biscuits and gravy, so i was shocked when he ordered a waffle. He ate it all, and it looked fabulous! The staff was on top and had great etiquette! Would definitely recommend!
Went here for dinner and the food was yummy. Service was super nice, but things took a while, and it wasn't super busy. Apparently, they have a pizza oven, but you can only order the pizza from their other restraunt jockey. Went with the pasta and chicken sandwiches. The fries were really good and seasoned. Juicy chicken on the sandwiches. My Pesto pasta had a pool of oil at the bottom but overall yummy. Cajun pasta had a good amount of shrimp and sausage, super creamy. My favorite was the appitizer of cheese curds, although a marinara dip would've made it that much better when asked if they had any, they said no. The cheese curds fed 3 and was plenty. Overall, I would recommend it. The food was good, but make sure you have some patience.
I went to this location when recruiting at an event at the Galt House Hotel. I got the meal to go so I could eat back at the event. The employee/hostess who took my order was not overly friendly but professional. I felt like the cooking time of the meal was appropriate. I got the spicy chicken sandwich with kettle chips. The “spicy” chicken was not spicy to my palette, but it was a good chicken sandwich. I am not a big fan of chips, so I normally sub chips with fries. I didn’t want to eat that heavy when I had a long day ahead of me so I kept the kettle chips that came with the dish. Honestly, the chips were wonderful. Typically, I would throw out the remaining chips but my husband is a chip fan so I decided to bring them home for him to try. He agreed and said “Those are some of the best chips I have tried.” Honestly, given the google rating I wasn’t expecting much so I was pleasantly surprised. Note: I was in the east tower conference area. To find the restaurant go to the third floor and cross over the sky bridge to the west tower and go to the 2nd floor.

My husband and I had brunch today. Everything we had was amazing. It was a lovely experience! Highly recommend everything I had… Bellini mimosa, green chili wontons, the hotter brown & hot banana pudding meringue.
My little family and I visited The Village Anchor for the first time last weekend. The food was delicious! We came after brunch and before dinner, so there was a special menu that contained their favorites. It wasn't the menu listed on the website, but we rolled with it. The restaurant appears to be a once, older home. It could stand a thorough cleaning, as some areas were dusty, especially the restroom. Overall, it was a nice restaurant, our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable, the staff was helpful and kind, and the food was delicious. Our waited was a little slow getting to us, but he was excellent and attentive! We WILL be back!!!!
I chose this restaurant for my niece's birthday brunch and I'm so glad that I did. We were greeted with a warm welcome and they gladly refrigerated the birthday cake as we were going to be seated outside. The table setup was very nice. The atmosphere was a delight and although it was a very hot day, the covered patio and fans made it comfortable for us. The food and drink selection was really good and everyone enjoyed their meals. Those red velvet pancakes are a must try. The show stealer of our experience would have to go to our waiter Maximilian. He was hands down one of the best waiters I've ever had and I consider myself a restaurant connoisseur. He was kind, personality was upbeat, attentive, and very patient with a bunch of teens. Thank you all for making the birthday brunch special. And please give Max a raise!

Just ate here for lunch. Got the honey baked ham sandwich. This has to be the smallest portion of meat I’ve ever had on a sandwich. My guess is at most 1 ounce of ham. Flavor was good, but too much honey drizzle on the sandwich. Very poor value for what you can buy these days whether a sub or sandwhich. I would recommend saving yourself the time and money and go to Publix and get a sub or sandwich. They’re so much better and much better value.
Horrible experience. Pre-ordered online to keep from waiting in line. Some people have been waiting in line for 30 minutes and when they got up to the counter to get their PRE-ORDER they said they were out of turkeys. There were 2 lines one was supposed to be Pre-ordered AND pre-paid but no one was there to tell customers. Some customers had been waiting in the wrong line for over 20 minutes and had to then get in another line. Very disorganized. Someone needs to open another similar store and put them out of business.
Why even bother taking reservations if you're just going to ignore them. Called to place a reservation the day before we headed up from Memphis. Took my order for a 8-9lb ham. Get up there after a long 6 hour drive, they have nothing larger than 7lbs left. I hate this company, their hams are already massively overpriced, so it makes sense they have no problem screwing people over on reservations too.

This definitely was a very different type of restaurant, the staff was really great and funky, our waitress was really cute and she was on top of everything. I learned about different foods that I never knew existed and tried new things. I had a hibiscus/bourbon mixed drink that was really strong and was really flavorful. I’m not a big bourbon drinker, but I definitely had to drink bourbon while I was in Louisville, and I must say the drink was delicious My favorite thing was fried mushrooms. And I had the chicken meal. I give it a 10 out of 10.
I always swear by the Eater guide/list for any city I visit in the world and did not realize that this restaurant was on the Eater list and at the hotel I was staying at. I showed up tired and jet lagged after a long day of flight delays just 15 minutes before the kitchen closed.and ordered the zucchini risotto. It honestly did not sound appealing. and had nuts on it, but when the dish arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. It was perfectly balanced with a creamy, lemony and nutty flavor. The cocktails were amazing as well…the Turing pass which was super smoky and delicious but the castle and key gin with their house made tonic was the winner and sinfully sublime. . The decor is super funky and fabulous as well.
During my recent visit to Proof on Main for lunch, I was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the food and the overall dining experience. I ordered the hanger steak, which was seasoned to perfection and cooked just right. The flavors were robust and well-balanced, making each bite a delight. It paired wonderfully with their salad, which is a fresh take on the traditional wedge. The crisp lettuce, tangy dressing, and delicious toppings complemented the richness of the steak perfectly. For our appetizer, we chose the charred octopus. This dish can be tricky to get right, but Proof on Main nailed it. The octopus was tender and not rubbery at all, with a delightful char that added depth to its flavor. The vibe at Proof on Main is eclectic and unique, adding to the charm of the dining experience. The decor is captivating and creates an inviting atmosphere. Additionally, the customer service was exceptional, with attentive and friendly staff who ensured our meal was enjoyable from start to finish. Overall, my meal at Proof on Main was stellar. The attention to detail in the preparation and seasoning of each dish was evident, and the pairing of flavors was spot on. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant for a memorable dining experience.

Overall we had a good experience. Not great but good. We had a great server so this is not a reflection of him. My wife and I were sitting talking and they decide to sit a person right next to us within arms reach instead of sitting this person at one of the other 17 open tables I could count within my view. They had 4 tables occupied at the time . From that point it just killed the vibe and we didn’t feel like we could openly talk. Overall the food was good but can’t it’s with the full price.
The service we received from Carla was absolutely amazing. She is such a bright spot in your day. She loves to get to know her customers and has an impeccable memory. She knows I want a Riesling to start and a Malbec with my steak. She offers the crab cake because that’s our favorite appetizer. We’ve followed Carla from a previous place of employment because she’s that awesome! This was the first time trying Oliver’s. There were definitely wins and a few small misses but I know they are easy fixes. The staff went out of the way to make sure the small things were corrected. I did order a lemon drop martini that came with what I thought was a sugar rum. Unfortunately it was a sugar/salt mixture but Jones made sure to come apologize and Carla had a new one made. The appetizers arrived quickly and were delicious. The meatballs were flavorful and those caramelized onions delightful. I could have went without the corn bread. I don’t feel like it brought any significance to the dish. Oysters were good but throw some more horseradish on there for us spicy people. I liked that the carpaccio was refreshing but really would have loved more sauce(maybe some grainy mustard). Last that crab cake was perfect. The sauce was flavorful and the cake was ALL crab. The little pieces that were caramelized along the edges were my favorite bites. The bread came in between the apps and main entrees. The rolls were fabulous and had almost a pretzel type exterior but a warm, soft, and fluffy interior. I couldn’t decide on just one entree, so I ordered two. The bone-in ribeye and the scallops. The ribeye was cooked to my preference and the seasoning was spot on. I ate the entire thing which I never do. The steak was topped with roasted garlic which made it even better. Now to the star of the show, the scallops. I wish the dish had 10 of them on there because I would have eaten every single one. They were seasoned and seared, then placed on a red pepper puree. They were topped with Parmesan cheese and the dish highlighted bacon and micro shiso peppers as well. I couldn’t get enough. It was just that good. We ended the night sharing just one dessert because we were full. It was the White Chocolate Cashew Mousse. The mousse was light and not overbearing. The flavor was quite lovely and I would order again. Carla made the entire night fantastic and I can’t wait to visit again.
From the outside in, this restaurant looks lovely. I decided to make reservations since I was staying at the hotel and it was convenient. I will start out by saying the staff and service was excellent. It did take awhile for us to get our food which wasn’t the best but I had high hopes for the food. Plus I was patient because it’s a higher end restaurant and they seemed a little busy because it was a Friday evening. When we got our food, I was disappointed. I ordered the pasta and it was dry and lacked flavor. My boyfriend got steak and asked for medium. The steak wasn’t cooked properly and was very well-done, pretty much burnt. For a higher end restaurant, the food isn’t worth the money at all. We paid $100 for dinner and the meal wasn’t worth that at all.

Upon entering we received complimentary champagne and the service we received at Le Moo was amazing! The staff was very attentive, our cups never dry, the table was kept tidy, presentation was beautiful, cooks, management and servers all made sure we had a great meal. The star of the night was the amazing steaks we had, All cooked to perfection. The wagu steak was everything, if you ever have the chance to try it you won’t be disappointed. We tried a few deserts, the table favorite was the bread pudding they served my sister for her birthday. I myself loved the pecan cheesecake. We are looking forward to our next visit.
the beef stroganoff is very good! the sauce was a bit thin/watery but tasted great. they gave me a pecan cheesecake for my birthday which was amazing as well :) the servers were all very nice and i love their idea of delivering the checks in spicy romance novels
Food was amazing. The best steak I’ve ever had in my life. Catie, our server was awesome. She was very nice, knowledgeable of the menu. She made some great suggestions throughout the meal. Best dining experience I’ve ever had. Le Moo is a unique place with great atmosphere. Will definitely be going there again.
Jack Fry’s is a renowned dining establishment located in the heart of Louisville, Kentucky, celebrated for its rich culinary heritage and commitment to exceptional service…
First time visiting Jack Fry's and it didn't disappoint. We started with drinks which immediately struck us both as some of the best cocktails we've ever enjoyed. Next, we enjoyed salads--both were good, but I would recommend the brie salad. For entrees we enjoyed the roasted chicken and the salmon. Both were very fresh, well plated, and delicious. The chicken plate immediately evoked a great nostalgia for holiday gatherings. For dessert we enjoyed the cinnamon pear cheesecake and the chocolate cake. Both were very rich, and flavors exceeded our expectations. The cheesecake was vibrant with fall aromas and colors. The inside of the restaurant itself is perhaps dated, but evokes a nostalgia for a bygone era. It's also crowded, but with a lively positive energy accompanied by a live pianist.
Iconic. 91 years and still iconic. We celebrated our anniversary tonight and had the absolute most memorable night! This will now forever be the place we celebrate, us. Great food and atmosphere! The service was amazing and the drinks tasted great! We did not make a reservation and ate at the bar, I’m so glad we did because we had the best bartender! Piano music made the place all that more special, can’t wait to visit again.
Jack Fry’s A+++ was excellent!!! The charming atmosphere was wonderful with wall covered memorabilia, and the white linen table cloth and piano bar in the background was very awesome. Our waiter was Steve he attended to our every need. He was prompt and professional throughout our entire sitting. So now the meal we had was amazing. I had the herb encrusted pork chops with potatoes and asparagus .The chops were the best that I have ever eaten absolutely delicious!!! My wife had the salmon dinner, and our guests each had the hamburger meal. They all agreed best they ever had!!!

I really enjoyed this place, from its American/pub fare to the cozy ambiance. They have a lunch and regular menu, with lots to choose from. I ended up going with the fried catfish po’boy. It had fried green tomatoes on it, and the catfish was a bit spicy, and the two just melded together perfectly. The fish tacos were good too. The service was good and the staff friendly.
We were looking to grab a bite between our commute from Louisville airport to Lexington and found this Lil gem... sat at the bar, friendly service & guests, food food and drinks with fair prices! Definitely worth the stop if you're hungry... and it's open past 8pm!
We absolutely loved this restaurant! It's located on the east end of Louisville off the Middletown exit. The inside is very clean and has a nice layout with the bar in a separate area of the restaurant. We were very pleased with the level of service. There is plenty to choose from on their menu with something for everyone. Everything we ordered was served rather quickly with the quality and taste of food being outstanding. This will surely be added to our stops whenever we're in that part of town.

Went here for the Father's Day brunch! Loved being greeted by live music when I came in, the saxophone player was a nice addition to the scenery. The food itself was fantastic and plentiful, really liked the cinnamony crispy fruity dish they had and the sausage links were delicious! Loved all the protein options, I had a fried chicken thigh, but the fish looked great too. The fruit table in the middle had some great pineapple and melon, and the dessert table was also packed with good stuff. The buffet line could have been organized a little better - the line started back where the waffles were, but the plates weren't until after the waffle station. It's awkward to reach between people in line to get a plate, then get back into the line to wait for the waffles if you want them. Also, the staff were constantly having to navigate between customers in line, requiring us to navigate with them in response. I don't fault the staff for that! But maybe just more clearly delineated signs and/or instructions and plate placement would improve the experience. The service was top-notch, our server kept our drinks filled and was very attentive, which was impressive given that she was also bartending! Definitely tip your servers well folks, they work very hard and do a great job. Great place to take the family for brunch! A little on the pricier end but worth it for a special occasion.
I loved this place. Food is top notch, service is quick (our waitress was low key but she always had us filled with drinks and no small talk which was fine for us) my boyfriend got the Giovanni linguine and I got the sweet chili linguine. Both delicious. For an appetizer we got the green chili wontons!!
Delivery order- ordered burger Well but received nearly raw. Went in garbage. Have noticed food quality issues for a couple of years but none this bad,
