The Front Porch Piano Bar & Restaurant is a vibrant dining and entertainment venue that offers a unique blend of culinary delights and live music experiences. Located in th…
Being a great attraction and seaside community, Ogunquit has something to offer everyone. The Front Porch is a unique place for those that would enjoy singing along with a pianist. A happy place with a vibe for relaxation and fun with friends and family. The Piano bar is on the second floor, and during the live event times, seating can be a bit hard to find, especially in high season. On a recent dinner visit I was fortunate to find a spot by the stairs and towards the back, but still with a bit of the view of the pianist. The menu has a lot of options and will appeal to almost everyone. I had the Crispy Calamari as an appetizer; quite the quintessential seafood dish when in New England. It is a generous portion and very well prepared. For the main course, I went with the Jerk Spiced Salmon, which was delicious and flavorful. Being a very busy place, one might expect a bit of a lag in service, but not so in my case. Madison as busy as she was, was fantastic and did a great job attending to not just me, but every table she supported. She was very pleasant and added much to my very satisfying experience. The pianist performs a variety of hits that would be a perfect sing along for most music fans. Bring an appetite and anticipation for joy, and you will be very happy to have stopped by.
I was excited to find The front porch piano bar and restaurant while I was planning a vacation to York Harbor Maine. This is a unique dining experience which a pianist will entertain the restaurant patrons by playing the piano and singing. It's actually a sing along with the pianoist. Front porch does not accept reservations check on the website for a schedule of the artist who are playing and at what times. There isn't a separate charge or ticket needed for the sing along. When we arrived at the restaurant it was busy. A friendly hostess greeted us and asked where we'd like to be seated in this large historical restaurant. We opted to be seated in the room the sing-a- long would be taking place. The dining area was large but divided so the only table which was available we could not see the pianist. Server was happy friendly and offered menu items as well as cocktail suggestions. Shortly after we placed our orders coustomers who had finished their dinner were clearing out of the room in which the pianist played. We asked our server for a better table and she happily found us a much better table as well as introduced us to our "new" server. She gave up business to satisfy us! 5 stars for her! I ordered the chicken under a brick entree which I highly recommend. The entree came with two sides I had the mashed potatoes and green beans. The chicken was delicious flavor able and juicy. Presentation of the entree was spot on. The pianist was excellent and played all types of tunes from Elton John to show tunes. We had a blast! I'd also like to mention we had visited the restaurant for a few hours. The pianist never stopped playing or took a break. Next time your in Ongunquit Maine make sure you visit the front porch piano bar and restaurant you'll be happy you did!
This place is so fun! It's pretty busy even in the off season, would recommend getting here early. Upstairs is the piano bar and bar. There's tables for seating also and a huge menu. Really amazing lavender lemon drop martini. We got the cauliflower for a starter and then I got the fish tacos for the main food. The haddock was super fresh and everything came out pretty quickly. Our server was really sweet and attentive. Whole experience was awesome, great atmosphere here and the place is easy to walk to and in the cute Ogunquit downtown.

We really really like the Crooked Pine! We came here with a big group first and sat outside. It was lovely, great service, wonderful food, and wonderful drink selection. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The second time we came we elected to sit inside. The food again was delicious and the wine we had was a great choice to have on the menu. I would happily return and recommend this restaurant. It’s our go to for out of town visitors. My only complaint is how loud it gets inside. I would ask to sit outside if you are easily bothered by loudness and would like to converse without having to speak up.
Very cute place, Great food! Service was ok. It’s a very small place located in an old house so seating it’s limited and some tables are located in narrow areas. There’s no parking so you have to park around the corner at the public parking and pay the meter; this parking has a flat rate during summer season and could be hard to find a spot. I will recommend going in May before the peak of the season starts.
The first thing you realize when you walk in is this restaurant used to be someone's house. The dining area is literally the living room. Once you get past the charm of this old house, you realize the food doesn't match the up. The food is good, but perhaps not as good as you will hope. My favorite is the Brie Toast. But you shouldn't have to go to a place for bread and cheese. It's generally a good idea to come to this place with a person you like to distract you from the mediocre food and high prices.

My husband and I loved our meal and drinks! It was a very warm night, rare in October , so we enjoyed our meal outside. Our waitress, Macy was very attentive to us. They have gluten free options as well. Will come back again to try their other tasty dishes
"That Place" was a restaurant with a very nice atmosphere. There were broad based dinning options from a regular dinning area to a lively bar to a pleasant outdoor eating area on Shore drive. The meal started with a nice size portion of a tasty Caesar salad. The main courses included caramelized salmon which was well presented and prepared with a very tasty sauce. The other entree was shrimp stuffed with crab meat. The sauce was very tasty and was creamy and rich. The crabmeat stuffing had filler and did not compliment the entree as much as it could have. Our server was very pleasant, polite and attentive. Unfortunately, we did not sample as much of the menu as usual, as we had eaten a very late lunch. In summary, a very pleasant nicer restaurant that I would clearly advise a return visit. The food was very good and suspect that sampling more menu items would likely improve their rsting.
We loved “that place”! favorite dinner of the trip to Ogunquit. We were disappointed to have a wait for the restaurant area but so happy we got a table by the bar, that was available immediately - it was so fun to watch and listen to the locals. The best steak I’ve had in a while, and we loved the pepperoni pizza - it’s a good portion and as a NYer, this is a rave review! Drinks were great and service/ staff was wonderful. Highly recommend!! Complimentary valet parking!

What a terrific new restaurant! The chef used to be at bintliffs and then the crew but he is his best self here!! The food is creative but nothing too crazy and perfectly executed. The portions are enormous and the prices are hands down the best in town. The veggie burrito is inexplicably delicious as is everything else on the menu like the meaty corned beef hash, the perfect smoked salmon plate, and the refreshing watermelon and feta salad, which we got with jumbo grilled shrimp. The only note I had was that the lobster croissant, which was very delicious, could use better bread. The croissant itself was more like a regular bun (drier, not flaky) and I would say they’d be better off just using an actual bun or potato roll instead or get a more flaky croissant. Other than that, 10/10!!!
Four of us came for Sunday brunch in mid July 2024. We had a reservation and got right in. It seems like they discourage you from a table seating if you don’t have a reservation fyi. The dining room is small, but well decorated and inviting. My in-laws ordered the plank for two which came with blueberry pancakes, cheese, sausage, Tuscan eggs, bacon and breakfast potatoes. Everything was delicious, expect the bacon was a bit chewy. We ordered a corned beef hash to share. It was good, but it was more like corned beef and potatoes not a hash. I ordered the original eggs benedict which were creamy and well seasoned. My husband had the crème brûlée French toast which he enjoyed. The two iced coffees I had were actual, delicious iced coffees, not hot coffee with ice in it that you get at some places. Overall, I think this is a good place for a special occasion, maybe when someone is in town, or you want to splurge a little bit. The food is pricey in my opinion.
I wanted to love this place but the prices are outrageous for food that is just okay. The raspberry lime rickey was vaguely pink and tasted like fizzy straight lime juice. The creme brulee french toast was an interesting idea but not well-executed, home fries were not fully-cooked. The server was great, hostess was indifferent, Definitely NOT for kids. The inside dining is fancy and small without actually feeling intimate and comfortable. We just happened upon this place and should have done our research first - might be to some people’s tastes but we won’t be back.

We stopped into Pepper’s for a quick bite to eat for lunch. We ordered steamers, mussels and the Perkins Cove lobster roll. The steamers and mussels were perfect and so delicious. The mussels had great flavor and the broth was top notch. The Perkins Cove lobster roll was a unique spin on a lobster roll, but was ranked at the top of the lobster rolls we ate all weekend - so consider that high praise. Would eat here again & the service was great!
My girlfriend and i’s experience was absolutely incredible! The Blueberry Lemonade infused vodka special was one of the best I've ever had! We ordered the mussels and fire cracker shrimp which was so delicious! The garlic and white wine broth was perfect and the fire cracker shrimp was perfectly battered and had the perfect amount of sauce to it. For entrees, I highly recommend the Maine Stuffed Haddock as I didn't want to put my fork down no matter how stuffed I was. My girlfriends blacked haddock salad was also perfectly seasoned the same goes for her, she did not want to put the fork down either. And as for our amazing server Gretchen, your hospitality and service was one of a kind!
Great food and very warm service. We enjoyed it enough on our first night in Ogunquit to return on the second. The lobster roll was extremely good, particularly the roll itself. The fries were also excellent. The restaurant itself is on the chilly side, so it's worth bringing a jumper etc with. There are various specials each night of the week and a quiz night on Tuesdays

The food was very good. You get to pick the weight you want, & and they boil them right there on the spot. The best time to get there is when they first open. They do get busy fast. But it is worth the wait.
Food was great, we were a group of 18 including kids. Alfredo Lobster pasta and the stew were incredible. Pick your own lobster was delicious. We got there a bit after they open so we were seated right away. We noticed the place got busy a bit after. Waitress wasn't great; she got a little attitude.
You must have a whole lobster any size you want when here. Couldn't be any fresher. Pick the one /size you want and they boil it right then. They serve it cracked so it is easier to get every morsel. There are many other delicious choices. Came here last trip and had to return on this trip.

Oh my! This was an excellent experience. The servers were knowledgeable and friendly, very attentive, and knew how to recommend the perfect things. We had the scallops, tomato app, swordfish, and the chicken and they were out of this world. There is NO way that this is not the best restaurant in town. You really shouldn’t miss this spot if you can get in!
This restaurant is absolutely fantastic!! My boyfriend and I went here for dinner the last night we were in Ogunquit this week and we were both speechless with how amazing the food was! We ordered a wedge salad (not pictured here because we were hungry and forgot to take a picture of it) and it was so flavorful. The homemade bread was out of this world. We both had the homemade cavatelli pasta, with braised duck rags, crispy garlic, sage, parmigiano. I literally didn’t have words to describe how amazing this dish was. Lastly, we had the sundae dessert-no matter how full you are this dessert is an absolute must. It had homemade black sesame & sweet corn ice creams, sesame and seaweed brittle, lime caramel. We will absolutely be back. They have a rotating menu for freshness of their ingredients, but the care they place in each dish is very well known when you’re eating the food. Chefs kiss!!
We loved this place! Got into town late and found this place open a little later than most and decided to give it a try! The drinks were fun and unique and they also made us an amazing mock tail soon request! We started with the scallops, the potato latke and the braise beef cheek. The scallops and potato latkes were hands down amazing! Beef cheek was yummy and new as well! For entrees we had the halibut and the duck breast, both were delicious. We also asked the waitress about dog friendly places in the area, as it’s kind of off season for patios. She asked the owners for us and they offered us to come back and they would set us up outside with blankets and a fire! That was so kind. Unfortunately we are only in town for 2 days and don’t have time to return, but if we ever return to Ogunquit area we will definitely be back! A+ customer service as well as food!

When I walked in the door, I said wow the view of the ocean is incredible. When you sit down every table has a great view. The staff was extremely accommodating, offering a lot of assistance and patience for ordering. The food was amazing. I had the burger, smoky bacon. Excellent my sister had the lobster roll. There was not one bite of food left on anybody’s plate. Thank you for an incredible lunch.
Absolutely horrible experience. Check reviews on other sites. Beautiful views. Horrible management. Fishy, Undercooked salmon served to a pregnant woman and refused to exchange. Managers on duty refused to give their names. A quick google search reveals it was in fact the owner Javier who refused to give his name, and was part of the decision to refuse the exchange. Someone has now responded with a false representation of our assessment of the seafood. The first time it was sent back it was undercooked in the thinner portion. Certainly not "medium" as requested. The second time it was undercooked in the thicker portion. In addition, it tasted fishy. Your farm raised fish that was "brought in this morning" was fishy. Own it Javier. Don't leave us sitting at the table for an excessive period of time with no service from wait staff to order a replacement dish, or receive the check. We very rarely request an exchange. Probably 5 times in the past 20 years. Your assessment of the situation is way off and I'm sorry that you missed the mark on this one. From talking to wait staff at other restaurants in the immediate area, it may be a systemic issue. Another update! Medium cooked Salmon is, at every other restaurant, cooked through. I never berated you or the manager. I went looking for the manager after we sat at the table for a very long period of time with no contact from anyone. The check was given to us after we asked for it. My wife was in tears while leaving your restaurant after the way she was treated. Your team missed the mark. Javier/Dana - you served bad undercooked fish twice. That's the bottom line. Additionally, the food was taken away and picked apart. Even if we wanted to, we couldn't even eat the meal you charged us for at that point. If you weren't going to refund the meal, don't pick it apart. Your attitude towards customer satisfaction is deplorable and the reviews on other sites support this. Just to add what was ultimately the icing on the cake - this whole matter took an hour to resolve (based on timestamps of photos). We sat there for about a half hour after the manager refused to credit the item, to when we finally got the check after walking the restaurant to find someone to allow us to pay and leave. 6:15 reservation and a woman who is 8 months pregnant left with only a salad at 8pm. Your description of swearing and yelling is an exaggeration to try to discredit our account of this awful dining experience. By the way - it was also her birthday. We had a great experience at the next restaurant we went to after yours, as we do at most restaurants. Javier/Dana - you returned to us a dish that was taken apart to show that it was cooked. It was then taken away leaving her nothing to eat, not even the quinoa. Your treatment of a pregnant woman on her birthday was absolutely deplorable. Last - my reviews are mixed based on the quality of the experience. We had a fantastic experience at our hotel and gave positive feedback to the reception desk, and will be leaving a positive review. Your attempts to discredit our story are symptomatic of the unfortunate customer service we experienced.
A wonderful restaurant that we always visit when near Ogunquit. Most recently had the seafood tower, clam chowder, burger, and lobster. All were fresh, well prepared, and delicious. The restaurant is right on the water, and if you can, try to get the tables on the outdoor 2nd floor deck facing the ocean.

Wonderful Jonathan's! Every time we visit we go to this restaurant for the $1 oysters they have from 4-6 daily. The oysters and rose are my favorite but they have some great nosh generally. It is pricey but the quality is unmatched and the experience is well worth the price. The artichoke appetizer is out of this world! I dream about it and I also think about it way more than I should. Parking can sometimes be a pain but if you go at the right time then it's fine. Patience is the name of the game in Ogunquit. They're super busy. Enjoy!!
Luigi is a great server with a great sense of humor, always making people laugh!!! 5 stars for Luigi!!! Blueberry crisp is a must have desert when you go!!! Great service. Great People. My family went here almost 9 years ago and is as good as we remember!!!
I had the Maine Baked Scallops. It was delicious. I also had the Blueberry Crisp which was amazing. Highly recommend this place!

We love Footbridge Lobster! If you’re looking for a good lobster roll in the OGT area - this is the one worth stopping for. 5 oz of lobster meat, bun grilled to perfection and always delicious. The staff is always so friendly too. Can’t recommend this spot enough!
Family owned joint serving the BEST lobster rolls. Lobster roll was overflowing with meat and it wasn't just the claw but the entire tail too! It was so good I had 2 rolls 10/10 would recommend!
The lobster roll was OUT OF THIS WORLD!! It was so good that we came back for another one! We had visited lobster roll shacks from Portland, Bar Harbor, and close to Wiscasset, but nothing came close to this one. The brioche was the perfect combination of sweet and buttery, and the lobster was some of the freshest tasting we’ve ever had! The roll had entire tails, claws, and knuckles! The portion size was generous as well. This lobster shack catches their own lobster, so it makes sense it tastes so fresh!!
